Johnny Harris has been good in smaller roles in not so great movies. In this his in the lead with some great supporting actors, like Michael Smiley, Ray Winstone and Ian McShane. He also wrote the movie and produced this film. Harris' performance is great as past his prime alcoholic boxer. The boxing scenes were shot nicely too.

End of the year Walter Hill - marathon is over and this film might have been my favorite. Mickey Rourke was good and it was nice to see Morgan Freeman being a asshole detective and different, his characters nowadays feel so similar.
