I really liked this one. The new score John Carpenter score was great. Jamie Lee Curtis was really good. The Shape/Micheal Myers was really intimidating again and the kills were brutal.

Watched the third season. Saw the first episode before my Halloween watching trip to the neighboring city with my brother. And after that trip we decided to watch a few episodes and ended up binging the whole season.

Patrick Bergin was so over the top bad duy in this that it started to get comical.

the underwater scenes were quite impressive especially Ricou Browning's swimming/diving with the creature suit on parts. The Gill-man suit is pretty great looking if only they would have been able to make the eyes a bit more lifelike for the costume it would still be quite impressive nowadays too.

I was disappointed when I realised that the DVD boxset had this version and not the Lon Chaney's 1920's version. I was just so bored watching this... The under 90 minutes runtime felt so much longer. Claude Rains was good especially at the beginning of the film.

Gotta approve the buttoned up shirt and straight pants combo that the Wolfman was wearing in this. The sets were pretty nice too.

This could have been really great horror film. Now the budget and the bad acting and overall quality weighed it down too much. Also having just seen High Tension/Haute Tension/Switchblade Romance I guessed the first twist really early on (which I thought was the biggest twist to come... Well, was I wrong) but the last few minutes really jumped the shark.

Nice trippy imagery and good acting. The practical effects/makeup were done nicely too.

This was my kinda horror series, there was like 2 jumpscares in the 10+ hours of runtime. And the second one affected me more than any other that I could remember ever. Armhairs and neck hairs both stood up. There were so many shots were you could see creepy things on the background. The acting was really good and I really was interested in the characters and the family drama parts were also good. The 6th episode was the best for me, the long takes were just so impressive as was the acting.

Colonel Trautman vs house with the Devil in the basement: Richard Crenna and the rest of the cast were good. The house was pretty creepy setting and there were some nice deaths. The Devil at the end made me chuckle and even before his laughter was more comical than scary.

Not that scary overall even though the blind lady has few creepy moments. But the story with the murder mystery and twists were entertaining to watch.
