This was a nice new IP from Guerilla Games. It's a modern third person action game and the game mechanics are nothing new or special but I didn't find that a problem since most of them are borrowed from games that I really like. Even if it borrows from other games, this felt really fresh and original every other way. The game also came out finished and properly polished and worked really well all the way through.
The game's setting and story were just so good and interesting that it hooked me in straight from the start. The Post-post-apocalypse as a setting was refreshing and the world was really colorful and varied really much when traveling to different parts. The game is set in Colorado /the Rocky Mountains and the nearby areas so there is everything from snowy mountains, desert lands to even lush jungles (the game explains this).
The world is filled with robots that are modeled after different animals. Hunting these beasts is really fun and when you accidentally run in front of a Thunderjaw (a robotic T-rex with lazer guns) too early in game you are going to die. This made the exploring really fun and even little intense. There are also some small animals running around too. I wish there would have been more different animal species but the lack of them can be explained what the story reveals later on. The main character is interesting and her backstory and the tribal life that she lives were the first thing that really caught my interest in the beginning. And after the world map opens up I was just hooked in and had to see how the world got to this stage. I got over 90 percent completion rate after finishing the first playthrough. The game has similar side stuff to Ubisoft's games but the difference here is that Guerilla Games didn't fill up the map with hundreds of collectibles and climbable objects, so the interest of collecting them all didn't fade out. Technically the game is nothing new but still this felt really fresh and the world and post-post-apocalypsian human culture etc. kept the experience really interesting all the way through.
Also the game was so great technically that I can't remember any issues. Maybe the load times could've been faster but this only became bothersome in the latter parts of the game. And only if you are using the fast traveling system as much as I did at that point when I was trying to do every side stuff before the end game I was looking the loading screens quite a much. But overall the game ran smoothly and there were no glitching or anything like that. This is kinda rare nowadays with the open-world games especially. *Also the soundtrack is really beautiful and is a mix of futuristic, tribal and (modern) orchestral sounds. Those sounds fit the game so perfectly and add so much to the gaming experience.

I liked this more the first time seeing this. Bill Hader and John Cena's moments were the funniest parts of the film.

Well, this was a lot weird Japanese graziness. Some awful looking CGI stuff like the vampyre tongues.

Not really a laugh-out-loud comedy but the character of David Brent was so funny again and created the comedy mostly. And there were some really funny moments too. The songs had some Spinal Tap in them too.

This was really great directorial debut. I've liked Macon Blair in Jeremy Saulnier's movies and this had something similar to Blue Ruin at times but this had more comedy in it. I really laughed when Elijah Woods kicked the old man with side kick to the face.

The story continues straoght from where it was left on in the first one. The game is a better version of the first game that was great already. The art is even prettier and there's more of hand-drawn animation and more voice over work done. The soundtrack is great one also.

I started to get worried because at the beginning this movie didn't make me laugh at all but ot got better. Still most of the jokes weren't funny to me but there were a few really good ones. Ed O'Neill was the funniest part of the movie. This was overall better than this weeks another SNL movie.
