I've been wanting to watch this for a few years now. Jack O'Connell is one of my newer favorites after his great performances. He was good in this too. Belfast as a setting in the 70's and the two fighting sides brought intensity and unnerving feeling to the action.

I hadn't seen this in over 10 years but I remembered basically every scene in the movie.

Aika kaukana siitä mitä odotin tältä... Pakotettua huumoria varsinkin vakiojäsen-koomikoilta(?). Rantala ja Milonoffkin tuntuvat lukevan valmiiksi kirjoitettuja vitsejä välistä. Uutisvuoto/Hyvät ja huonot uutiset tjs. tyylinen paneeliviritys tuntuu niin oudolta formaatilta. Takaisin vanhaan Mad Cook keittiöön ja sinne pari vierasta ja käsikirjoitus vapaammaksi, kiitos. Ruoka-ainekset sentään tuntuvat olevan kohdillaan... tosin niistäkin on väännetään jotain huippukokin mättöjä sitten. Missä pulunugetit ja surströmming suoraan säilykepurkista... Ja pahin miinus kaikista oli sijoittaa Janne Kataja ensimmäiseen jaksoon... Siinä on lärvi joka pilaaa ohjelman kuin ohjelman. Onneksi Tunna tarjoili semi-huutolaattaa toisessa jaksossa sentään.

Harrelson and Foster are great together and the movie is pretty great but it might be a bit too long or atleast I started to lose my interest a bit toward the end. But then there was a scene that brought me back.

I bought both of the original movies after watching the Hollywood version. I liked this one quite much too. There's a lot of moments that are borrowed from this to the newer film but there is also many differences so the movie wasn't a unnecessary remake.

The setting and the cop duo made me think the first season of True Detective. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Sam Worthington are great together and I liked that they had some issues too. The characters are good but the movie felt really familiar (and I guessed the killer quite fast) and long.

The cast is great but the script is pretty horrible and that doesn't help anyone. The camerawork, however, was the worst part of the movie. The opening car chase scene made me laugh... it was that good.

Second time watching this and I'm still liking this but the awkward comedy moments were bothering more now than in the first time seeing this.

Movie from the Paranormal Activity director and it is pretty awful. The nightvision effect with the the half of the screen just black was a great choice and really made it interesting to watch. Also you can guess everything that is going to happen in this movie as soon as it starts.
